IRONMAN Louisville Training Camp 2011 - INFO Announced!!
Folks,
Some of you are training for IM Louisville this year.....some
are looking towards next year....I am gooing to be planning a group camp
for the weekend of Aug 12, 13 and 14 in Louisville to ride the course,
run the course, see the area...including the swim start and finish,
transition area and finish area. I have raced here twice and ridden the
bike course many times.......I have tons of information to share about
the venue.
I am looking at this point for a possible head count for this
camp......I have secured a group rate at the Fairfield Inn in downtown that is very close to the core of the IM Louisville action (please contact me @ ironbrickcoach@gmail.com for group rate information)....
The current plan is to drive down
Friday after work, long ride first thing Saturday, then a short run
workout Sat afternoon to include the Transition area, the first 2 miles
of the run course and the finishing area. Saturday evening I would plan a
group dinner at a little place I love across the river in IN. Then
Sunday we will do at least one loop of the run course (about 12.5 miles)
then a quick spin to loosen the legs before driving home......

the camp, general public will be $100.00 and StL Tri-Club members will
be $50.00. I plan on having this camp USAT certified but need to get
that done so if you can indicate your possible intention to attend that
will help me get the process started.
